About Terese Beatty

I guess it’s about time that I tell you who I am. I am a full fledged adult (48), and a graduate student in Mental Health Counseling. I consider myself a recent adult, as my mom and stepfather died in 2011. I also tend to not think like most adults, and am still very in touch with the adolescent version of me, which I hope will be beneficial in the counseling world. I have a heart for  senior adults and individuals with chronic illness, especially Type 1 diabetes. I am also a grandparent to the best little person in the whole world (no bias here).

I began blogging after a friend encouraged me to, and I am glad that this advice was taken. I have been able to clear out some cobwebs and heavy stuff through my writings.

I want to thank you for taking precious time out of your day to listen to my thoughts. I hope that through reading my blog, your perspective on things changes, or at least has you contemplating where I am coming from.

I generally only blog once a week, so you will not be swamped with notifications indicating a new post. I welcome and appreciate feedback, so feel free to comment as the mood hits.

Thanks again. I hope you rarely come away from this blog wishing you could get that time back.

Hey Terese- stumbled across your blog. I really liked all the articles. Very well written. Congratulations on your education and career. You will be a great help to many. And on being a proud grandmother. If you get a chance, drop me a line. Wish to hear from you.

    • Hi John! Great to hear from you! I have looked for you on Facebook several times, but no luck. Thank you for your kind words. I can’t imagine how you found my blog, but I am glad you did. I have been neglecting it this semester, but perhaps I will get back to it soon.

I hope you have a great Thanksgiving.

Hey Terese- glad to here back from you. I never got around to doing facebook. As you can imagine , I’m not real tech savy. It actually took me a while to navigate your blog site. I wouldn’t mind emailing your personal address , or I could give you my text number. I’m guessing that this is an open line.
